Chasing the forever leaks on The Crusty Chevy. Apparently the last time I did the intake manifold, I did not do a very good job sealing the China Walls. Eating coolant (Blackstone Labs also reported coolant in the oil) became a bigger appetite, which became puddles on the floor.
With the ceiling done and the lights back up in the shop, the Firefly gets to move in. Things should move a lot quicker real soon.

These guys can analyze your motor oil and let you know what’s going wrong with your engine. I’m suspecting the head gaskets are heading south again…
This will be my fourth transmission rebuild (four different vehicles) in one year.
Crusty Chevy gets a refresh.
Rebuilding a 4L60E at the school in the Mechanics class. Transmission does nothing. Took it apart. Two smoked clutch packs. It ~looks~ like the transmission was assembled faulty at some time. One improperly installed seal created a $3000 bill. Nice.

Noticed the right rear of the Crusty Chevy was sitting a bit low. Good time to check out the leaf springs and also shim out a driveline vibration.
